From the Director:

Joshua and I know there is a need for early childcare providers in our area. We together decided to begin the journey in July of 2018 of opening a group home daycare in Oscoda. Finding quality childcare was always a challenge, so with the help of my husband Josh we knew opening a childcare and being able to provide positive early childhood experiences for young children was our next step in life. We are headed into our 6th year of operations looking forward to what we are going to be able to offer for our small town. Keep growing and providing the very best childcare. We are excited to be able to offer a 74 capacity center our community truly needs.

Director - Owner

Erika Krumm

I wanted to personally introduce myself as the Owner/Provider of Tiny Rebels Childcare, LLC. I am a native from this area, graduating in 2008 from Oscoda Area High School. After graduation, I studied Business Management at SVSU where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in 2012. In 2022, I finished my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education with highest honors.

Joshua Krumm

Joshua completed his CDA course work in preschool allowing him to sit for his CDA and certified him to become a lead teacher at our new facility.

Miss Hayley

We are thankful to have Hayley on our team leading our infant room. Hayley obtained her lead status through taking all the care courses . She is currently enrolled in a cohort to further her educational journey where she will obtain an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Miss Anna

Anna joined our team early August where she began her journey in our older 3 year old room. She has found her love for the younger ones and working towards earning an early childhood education. Anna is a 2018 graduate from Oscoda Area Schools and has worked with children most of her life. We are excited for this addition to our growing team.

Miss Emily

Emily joined our team full time after attending SVSU where she learned shed like to further her early childhood education. Emily enjoys many aspects of our surrounding area where she is former graduate of Oscoda Area School and will be attending Motts to further her studies in Early Childhood Education.

Lead Teacher - Room 4

Mrs. Cher

Teaching/caregiving for children has always been close to my heart. That moment when their eyes light up when they’ve learned something new or when they don’t realize they’ve learned as you watch on with a smile…the best feels ever. As your children learn, I will be learning right along with them! Finding new ways to do things and maybe learning a thing or two from them!

Assistant Teacher - Room 4

Mrs. Andrea

Our preschool room assistant Andrea has been an extremely valuable part to our everyday teaching. From being able to shadow one on one to learning and playing alongside all the children. Andrea has become an inspiration for all the children. Andrea is hoping to complete classes in early childhood before summer 2024.

Floater/Helper

Mrs. Samantha

Sam has joined our team for the summer through the outreach of CMU as she finishes her early childhood bachelors degree. She completing her summer classes through this cohort without our facility in our infant/toddler room. Sam is amazing addition through her knowledge. Sam is mother to 6 children. Sam graduated in 2009 from Oscoda Area Schools, where she is currently a full time para pro for the elementary school during the school year. Her plans are to be a teacher and watch her students grow after graduation in 2024.

Ms. Michele

Michele joined Tiny Rebels in August of 2023. Started in Room 2 and now a great asset to our older room. Always making sure our rooms are tidy we have loved having her on our team.
